She Makes My Gray Skies Blue

Okay, I am totally copying Shana with this post. I just love her pictures of Sophie Lu. Here are the pictures of Dallas that "make my gray skies blue". I am slowly recovering from a total hysterectomy and am in lots of pain. Not to mention that I can't always pick Dallas up when she wants me to. She cries because I can't hold her and then I end up crying because she is crying and I can't comfort her. Dallas is in such a great mood this morning. I grabbed both cameras and started snapping pictures like crazy. That smile of hers melts my heart. I love this child with every fiber of my being. So what are the pictures that "make your gray skies blue"?

At Home Recovering Nicely

I stayed in the hospital for 3 days and got discharged Thursday night. I have been doing little since then. Sleep, watch TV, play on computer, eat, take painkillers, and sleep some more!!! I had the staples removed Monday and I feel so much better now. At one point I felt like on of those dead bloated deer on the side of the road!!! I will need 6-8 weeks for recovery. Since I have lots of time on my hands I have several projects to do!!! Like my new blog template I added today? It has taken me 4 hours to do this. Next is start a scrapbook for Dallas and read the dozen books I have lying around. I also need to work on our online photo album at Smug_Mug. Dallas did well while I was in the hospital. No major meltdowns or tantrums while at her Grandparent's house!!! Johnny made it back home last week and is taking care of me(seriously- I'm not kidding). He even served me breakfast in bed Sunday morning!!! I will update more about Dallas later on.

My surgery is tomorrow

I am getting very nervous right now. I have to be at the hospital at 5:00 am and it starts at 7:30. I have known for a long time that I would need a total hysterectomy but I just kept putting it off. My endo. is back and worse than ever. I can't keep living on painkillers, especially with a 19 month old who needs me. My family will take care of Dallas while I am in the hospital. Hopefully I will be home by Thursday. John is coming home Thursday so he will be able to take care of the baby and me!!! I am worried about Dallas. I hope she doesn't think I abandoned her. She is too young to understand what is going on. Please say a prayer for me and for Dallas. I will update later this week when I get home.

Can't forget my first baby

I can't forget my first baby or should I say "Fur Dogger". Noelle is a handful. She is always into something. But she is ever so protective of her "little sister". Noelle is not far from Dallas at any time. They can usually be found fighting over Noelle's toys. Yes, my daughter is fond of buddah bones and squeeky toys!!! I took this pic last week. Noelle is showing just who is the "Princess" in our household. She just loves sitting in Dallas' princess chair.

New Pics

Boxes are more fun than toys!!!

Are you ready for some football?

Such a happy baby!!!

Darn these Halloween peeps!!!

This medicine is making me feel drunk!!!(Waiting to go into the OR)

Bad Mommy forgot to post a few recent pics of Munchkin. Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

We're Back

Yep, we're moving back to Blogger!!! I really did like Type_pad but I can't stand to pay for something that I can get for free. Must be getting cheap in my old age!!! I even tries Word_press but I despised them because I couldn't figure out how to navigate their system. It is going to take some time to get this site tweaked out the way I want it so please bear with me. I am having a total hysterectomy this Tuesday. Ouch!!! I just can't take the pain from the endo. any longer. I will probably be in for three days. Hopefully dear sweet John will let me use his laptop so I can work on the blog and update it. Now for an update on Dallas. She will be 19 months old on October 10th. She finally took her first steps this week!!! We are also up to 16 teeth now. No wonder she has been such a bear this past week. She had tubes put in her ears almost two weeks ago. It has helped her tremendously. She has never had an ear infection since we have had her but her ears have been full of fluid. This has totally messed with her hearing and made her eardrums hard. She is into everything in this house. I do believe John will have to do some advanced child-proofing next week!!! I will update before I go into surgery. For now, I am cleaning my house from top to bottom because John is not the best housekeeper. He is a great father but he is messy!!!
